List of Justices of the Supreme Court of Virginia

This is a list of past and present and past justices of the Supreme Court of Virginia. Both Justices and Chief Justices are elected by majority vote of both houses of the General Assembly to twelve year terms. The Court was known as the Supreme Court of Appeals until 1970, when it took on its present name.
